The American Red Cross North Central Texas Chapter in Wichita Falls, Texas seeks an Executive Director who will be responsible for providing leadership to ensure quality American Red Cross services in a 16 county area.  The Executive Director, in partnership with the Board of Directors, will lead the organization in fund raising, community development and visibility and volunteer recruitment. While managing a staff and budget, the Executive Director will direct all components of the Chapter’s fundraising plan including annual giving, corporate and foundation grants and sponsorships, major individual and corporate gifts and special fundraising events.  The Executive Director will regularly assess and report progress, build collaborative partnerships and alliances with community leaders and organizations to provide financial, material and human resources to support the Chapter in its operations.  The Executive Director reports directly to the Regional Chief Executive Officer of the Chisholm Trail Chapter.  Candidates will have at least 10+ years in an executive leadership position with a successful record of accomplishment and measurable achievement of fund raising goals preferably in the Red Cross or non profit sector.  E-mail letter, resume & salary requirements to: hartmar@usa.redcross.org.  Excellent benefits package. Emergency Services Director, American Red Cross of North Central Texas, headquartered in Wichita Falls, TX

 Provides the overall direction and leadership for the planning, coordination and evaluation of disaster relief services throughout the chapter’s 16 county jurisdiction. Performs a key leadership role for the Emergency Services Department and serves as a member of the chapter’s leadership team. Ensures that the delivery of the highest quality of client and customer service is provided and supports the mission of the American Red Cross.  This position reports to the Executive Director.

The ideal candidate will have appropriate experience in Red Cross Disaster Services.

 Qualifications: Excellent written and oral skills. Ability to think and plan strategically. Knowledge of basic management practices. Three (3) years progressive responsibility in a non-profit setting

 Preferred: Bachelors degree in a related field or any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and competencies.
